Three Euphonics for solo euphonium by Howard J. Buss was named the first place winner of the 2011 Lieksa Brass Week's International Composition Competition. In addition to receiving a 1,000 € prize, the winning work is to be used as required music for the Lieksa International Euphonium Competition, July 21-28, 2011 in Lieksa, Finland.
