Collection: Eastern Kentucky University - Kelly Diamond

Mr. Kelly Diamond is the Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.    Mr. Diamond is a retired member of the U.S. Navy Band, Washington, D.C. where he served in the concert and ceremonials bands, the tuba-euphonium quartet.  He is also a former member of the 202nd Army National Guard Band of Kentucky.  During his 22 years of military service, he has performed for five Presidents of the United States, toured Europe and the United States, and provided final military honors for nearly 5000 funeral services at Arlington National Cemetery. Of most importance to him are those honors given to the members of the US Navy lost at the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001.  Since retiring from military service, he has been a high school and middle school band director in the central Kentucky area, freelance musician, composer and arranger for tuba and euphonium, conductor and performer with the Lexington Brass Band, and a member of the 859 Brass.
