An OUTSTANDING solo from the turn of the century.  One of the best works for euphonium from the turn of the century Sousa Band era.  A large scale work that features wonderful lyrical melodies that highlight the sound of the euphonium along with a number of phrases that allow the euphonium to demonstrate consumate technical skill and prowess.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as a showpiece and allows the soloist to demonstrate great flair.
