Written as a fantasia based on the traditional melody, Rule Britannia, Brillante highlights the technical powers of the euphonium.  These demands will be the challenge in this work with rapid triple tongued passages, overall high tessitura, and running sixteenths as the final section.  This work will be enjoyed by many audiences and is a great choice as a modern theme and variations.
